Federal structure not complied in Bengal - BJP's hatred racism towards the soil of Bengal continues ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡³

Yes-Bengal has been deprived again in matter of ambitous Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor (EDFC) Project as part of PM Gati Shakti Programme undermining the spirit of cooperative federalism ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡³ 

Chronology: 

November 2021- A Punjab BJP leader Pawan Palta appointed as an Independent director of Central Government PSU DFCCIL.






August 2023- Central Government has cancelled the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor(EDFC) in West Bengal. At present Sonnagar in Bihar has become the last completion site of the EDFC project - West Bengal has stands cancelled. As a consolation prize, the Railways has been awarded construction of this multi modal freight railway line through  EPC model between Sonnagar and only upto Andal-Dankuni stands removed

Notably, Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor (EDFC) was first decided to be built up to Dankuni in West Bengal - later it was revised and decided to be built up to Andal. But now the entire EDFC project has been canceled from West Bengal. DFCCIL had already acquired 98% of the land for this project

Meanwhile,Railways is already promoting the completion of EDFC construction. Against all these injustices, 42 MPs of Bengal regardless of party,Bengal Chief Minister and even media of Bengal are silent.
